CVSS v3.1 |
In the latest version of vanna-ai/vanna, the `vanna.ask` function is vulnerable to remote code execution due to prompt injection. The root cause is the lack of a sandbox when executing LLM-generated code, allowing an attacker to manipulate the code executed by the `exec` function in `src/vanna/base/base.py`. This vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker to achieve remote code execution on the app backend server, potentially gaining full control of the server.
A vulnerability in the package_index module of pypa/setuptools versions up to 69.1.1 allows for remote code execution via its download functions. These functions, which are used to download packages from URLs provided by users or retrieved from package index servers, are susceptible to code injection. If these functions are exposed to user-controlled inputs, such as package URLs, they can execute arbitrary commands on the system. The issue is fixed in version 70.0.
The Product Table by WBW plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 2.0.1 via the 'saveCustomTitle' function. This is due to missing authorization and lack of sanitization of appended data in the languages/customTitle.php file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server.
Command injection when ingesting a remote Kaggle dataset due to a lack of input sanitization in the ingest_kaggle() API
In AMD Versal Adaptive SoC devices, the incorrect configuration of the SSS during runtime (post-boot) cryptographic operations could cause data to be incorrectly written to and read from invalid locations as well as returning incorrect cryptographic data.
A code injection vulnerability in the Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR® Broker VM allows an authenticated user to execute arbitrary code with root privileges on the host operating system running Broker VM.
| # Active Storage allowed transformation methods potentially unsafe
Active Storage attempts to prevent the use of potentially unsafe image
transformation methods and parameters by default.
The default allowed list contains three methods allow for the circumvention
of the safe defaults which enables potential command injection
vulnerabilities in cases where arbitrary user supplied input is accepted as
valid transformation methods or parameters.
Impact
------
This vulnerability impacts applications that use Active Storage with the image_processing processing gem in addition to mini_magick as the image processor.
Vulnerable code will look something similar to this:
```
<%= image_tag blob.variant(params[:t] => params[:v]) %>
```
Where the transformation method or its arguments are untrusted arbitrary input.
All users running an affected release should either upgrade or use one of the workarounds immediately.
Workarounds
-----------
Consuming user supplied input for image transformation methods or their parameters is unsupported behavior and should be considered dangerous.
Strict validation of user supplied methods and parameters should be performed
as well as having a strong [ImageMagick security
policy](https://imagemagick.org/script/security-policy.php) deployed.

NETGEAR XR1000 before 1.0.0.74, XR1000v2 before 1.1.0.22, and XR500 before 2.3.2.134 allow remote code execution by unauthenticated users.
An unauthenticated remote attacker can trick an admin to visit a website containing malicious java script code. The current overly permissive CORS policy allows the attacker to obtain any files from the file system.
A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in yangyouwang 杨有旺 crud 简约后台管理系统 1.0.0. Affected is an unknown function of the component Role Management Page. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in yangyouwang 杨有旺 crud 简约后台管理系统 1.0.0. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the component Department Page. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used.
A flaw has been found in projectsend up to r1720. Impacted is an unknown function of the component File Editor/Custom Download Aliases. This manipulation causes cross site scripting. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version r1945 is recommended to address this issue. Patch name: 334da1ea39cb12f6b6e98dd2f80bb033e0c7b845. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component.
GeoVision GV-ASWeb with the version 6.1.2.0 or less (fixed in 6.2.0), contains a Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability within its Notification Settings feature. An authenticated attacker with "System Settings" privileges in ASWeb can exploit this flaw to execute arbitrary commands on the server, leading to a full system compromise.
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Netis WF2780 2.1.41925. This affects an unknown part of the component Wireless 2.4G Menu. The manipulation of the argument SSID leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Open Policy Agent (OPA) is an open source, general-purpose policy engine. Prior to version 1.4.0, when run as a server, OPA exposes an HTTP Data API for reading and writing documents. Requesting a virtual document through the Data API entails policy evaluation, where a Rego query containing a single data document reference is constructed from the requested path. This query is then used for policy evaluation. A HTTP request path can be crafted in a way that injects Rego code into the constructed query. The evaluation result cannot be made to return any other data than what is generated by the requested path, but this path can be misdirected, and the injected Rego code can be crafted to make the query succeed or fail; opening up for oracle attacks or, given the right circumstances, erroneous policy decision results. Furthermore, the injected code can be crafted to be computationally expensive, resulting in a Denial Of Service (DoS) attack. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.0. A workaround involves having network access to OPA’s RESTful APIs being limited to `localhost` and/or trusted networks, unless necessary for production reasons.
A vulnerability was found in Kentico CMS up to 13.0.178. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality of the file /CMSInstall/install.aspx of the component Additional Database Installation Wizard. The manipulation of the argument new database leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. Upgrading to version 13.0.179 is able to address this issue. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component.
Gardyn Home Kit firmware before master.619, Home Kit Mobile Application before 2.11.0, and Home Kit Cloud API before 2.12.2026 allow command injection through vulnerable methods that do not sanitize input before passing content to the operating system for execution. The vulnerability may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands on a target Home Kit.
A vulnerability was found in mrcen springboot-ucan-admin up to 5f35162032cbe9288a04e429ef35301545143509. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the file /ucan-admin/index of the component Personal Settings Interface. The manipulation leads to cross site scripting. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product does not use versioning. This is why information about affected and unaffected releases are unavailable.
In OPSWAT MetaDefender Kiosk before 4.7.0, arbitrary code execution can be performed by an attacker via the MD Kiosk Unlock Device feature for software encrypted USB drives.
Incorrect Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) configuration in Hiberus Sintra. Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) allows browsers to make cross-domain requests in a controlled manner. This request has an “Origin” header that identifies the domain making the initial request and defines the protocol between a browser and a server to see if the request is allowed. An attacker can exploit this and potentially perform privileged actions and access confidential information when Access-Control-Allow-Credentials is enabled.
