CVSS v3.1 |
| An issue was discovered in MSA FieldServer Gateway 5.0.0 through 6.5.2 (Fixed in 7.0.0). The FieldServer Gateway has an internally used shared administrative user account on all devices. The authentication for this user is implemented through an unsafe shared secret that is static in all affected firmware versions. |
| extcap/nrf_sniffer_ble.py, extcap/nrf_sniffer_ble.sh, extcap/SnifferAPI/*.py in Nordic Semiconductor nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE 3.0.0, 3.1.0, 4.0.0, 4.1.0, and 4.1.1 have set incorrect file permission, which allows attackers to do code execution via modified bash and python scripts. |
| melange allows users to build apk packages using declarative pipelines. Starting in version 0.23.0 and prior to version 0.29.5, SBOM files generated by melange in apks had file system permissions mode 666. This potentially allows an unprivileged user to tamper with apk SBOMs on a running image, potentially confusing security scanners. An attacker could also perform a DoS under special circumstances. Version 0.29.5 fixes the issue. |
| An issue was discovered in LemonLDAP::NG before 2.20.1. An Improper Check during session refresh allows an authenticated user to raise their authentication level if the admin configured an "Adaptative authentication rule" with an increment instead of an absolute value. |
| A local attacker with low privileges on the Windows system where the
software is installed can exploit this vulnerability to corrupt
sensitive data. A data folder is created with very weak privileges,
allowing any user logged into the Windows system to modify its content. |
| The WatchGuard Terminal Services Agent on Windows does not properly configure directory permissions when installed in a non-default directory. This could allow an authenticated local attacker to escalate to SYSTEM privileges on a vulnerable system.
This issue affects Terminal Services Agent: from 12.0 through 12.10. |
| Insecure inherited permissions for some Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Application before version 20.0.1021 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. Unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable local code execution. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| Under heavy system utilization a random race condition can occur during authentication or token refresh operation. This flaw allows one user to be granted a token intended for another user, resulting in impersonation until the session is ended. This flaw cannot be intentionally exploited due to the required concurring action by two users. However, if the event occurs a user would be inadvertently exposed to another user’s system rights and data access. |
| Incorrect default permissions issue in PC Time Tracer prior to 5.2. If exploited, arbitrary code may be executed with SYSTEM privilege on Windows system where the product is running by a local authenticated attacker. |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure folder permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud Agent (Windows) before build 37758. |
| Kaminari is a paginator for web app frameworks and object relational mappings. A security vulnerability involving insecure file permissions has been identified in the Kaminari pagination library for Ruby on Rails, concerning insecure file permissions. This vulnerability is of moderate severity due to the potential for unauthorized write access to particular Ruby files managed by the library. Such access could lead to the alteration of application behavior or data integrity issues. Users of affected versions are advised to update to Kaminari version 0.16.2 or later, where file permissions have been adjusted to enhance security. If upgrading is not feasible immediately, review and adjust the file permissions for particular Ruby files in Kaminari to ensure they are only accessible by authorized user. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) DSA installer for Windows before version 24.2.19.5 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Under certain circumstances the impacted Software House C•CURE 9000 installer will utilize unnecessarily wide permissions. |
| Insecure Permission vulnerability in Agasta Sanketlife 2.0 Pocket 12-Lead ECG Monitor FW Version 3.0 allows a local attacker to cause a denial of service via the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) component. |
| An issue in Secnet Security Network Intelligent AC Management System v.1.02.040 allows a local attacker to escalate privileges via the password component. |
| A vulnerability related to registry permissions in the Intercept X for Windows updater prior to Core Agent version 2024.3.2 can lead to a local user gaining SYSTEM level privileges during a product upgrade. |
| Windows permissions for ASPECT configuration toolsets are not fully secured allow-ing exposure of configuration informationThis issue affects ASPECT-Enterprise: through 3.*; NEXUS Series: through 3.*; MATRIX Series: through 3.*. |
| The NetCloud Exchange client for Windows, version 1.110.50, contains an insecure file and folder permissions vulnerability. A normal (non-admin) user could exploit the weakness in file and folder permissions to escalate privileges, execute arbitrary code and maintain persistence on the compromised machine. It has been identified that full control permissions exist on the ‘Everyone’ group (i.e. any user who has local access to the operating system regardless of their privileges). |
| NVIDIA ConnectX Host Firmware for the BlueField Data Processing Unit (DPU) contains a vulnerability where an attacker may cause an improper handling of insufficient privileges issue. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to denial of service, data tampering, and limited information disclosure. |
| NVIDIA ConnectX Firmware contains a vulnerability where an attacker may cause an improper handling of insufficient privileges issue. A successful exploit of this vulnerability may lead to denial of service, data tampering, and limited information disclosure. |
