| A vulnerability was found in libsoup's WebSocket frame parsing implementation. The library fails to validate length rules specified in RFC 6455 §5.5, which mandates that all WebSocket control frames (e.g., PING, PONG, CLOSE) contain a payload of 125 bytes or less. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this by sending a non-compliant, oversized control frame. Because the parser handles this protocol violation improperly instead of throwing an immediate connection termination error, it triggers a internal processing crash, resulting in a remote denial of service (DoS) for applications utilizing libsoup WebSockets. |

| RabbitMQ is a messaging and streaming broker. Prior to 4.2.6, the RabbitMQ stream listener does not enforce the configured stream frame-size limit while assembling frames during authentication and before Tune negotiation, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to declare oversized frame lengths and consume broker memory in rabbit_stream_core. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.6. |
| Zeek before 8.0.9 contains an uncontrolled memory consumption vulnerability in the FTP analyzer that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to cause process termination by sending a crafted FTP control session negotiating AUTH GSSAPI followed by a large ADAT control line. Attackers can exploit the NVT_Analyzer component's lack of a maximum line length check, causing it to continuously double its internal buffer without bounds during base64 decoding of an attacker-controlled ADAT token, resulting in denial of service of the Zeek sensor. |
| Eclipse Wakaama before snapshot/2026-05-26 contains an unbounded memory allocation vulnerability in the CoAP Block1 handler within coap/block.c that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exhaust server memory by sending a sequence of Block1 PUT requests with incrementing block numbers. Attackers can target the registration endpoint over UDP without authentication, causing the server to repeatedly reallocate a growing accumulation buffer by appending each block payload without enforcing any maximum total size limit, resulting in denial of service through memory exhaustion. |

An authenticated user holding the luci.https-dns-proxy ACL permission can inject shell metacharacters through the 'name' parameter of a ubus RPC call to luci.https-dns-proxy setInitAction, resulting in arbitrary command execution as root on the underlying device. Core OpenWrt is not affected; only installations that have opted in to the luci-app-https-dns-proxy package are vulnerable. |

| gix-submodule before 0.29.0 (gitoxide before 0.5.21, gix before 0.84.0) incorrectly validates the update field in .gitmodules, allowing attackers to bypass the CommandForbiddenInModulesConfiguration guard when a submodule has been initialized with only partial configuration in .git/config. An attacker can inject arbitrary shell commands via the update field in .gitmodules that will be executed when Submodule::update() is called on a previously-initialized submodule, enabling remote code execution. |

From 5.1.0 until 12.3.0, PdfParser.PdfStream.decode() in PIL/PdfParser.py calls zlib.decompress() with bufsize set to the PDF stream Length field without bounding the decompressed output size, allowing a crafted FlateDecode PDF stream to exhaust memory from a small file. This issue is fixed in version 12.3.0. |
| A vulnerability was found in libsoup's HTTP/2 protocol implementation. The library fails to correctly release memory context blocks under specific stream termination conditions, such as when an HTTP/2 connection encounters window exhaustion or explicit stream resets. A remote, unauthenticated attacker acting as a malicious network peer can trick the connection engine into allocating stream states that are subsequently leaked during cleanup. Over a sustained period, this flaw allows the remote attacker to consume the system's heap allocations incrementally, triggering a denial of service (DoS) through an ultimate Out-of-Memory (OOM) application crash. |
