CVE-2021-47642 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: video: fbdev: nvidiafb: Use strscpy() to prevent buffer overflow Coverity complains of a possible buffer overflow. However, given the 'static' scope of nvidia_setup_i2c_bus() it looks like that can't happen after examiniing the call sites. CID 19036 (#1 of 1): Copy into fixed size buffer (STRING_OVERFLOW) 1. fixed_size_dest: You might overrun the 48-character fixed-size string chan->adapter.name by copying name without checking the length. 2. parameter_as_source: Note: This defect has an elevated risk because the source argument is a parameter of the current function. 89 strcpy(chan->adapter.name, name); Fix this warning by using strscpy() which will silence the warning and prevent any future buffer overflows should the names used to identify the channel become much longer.
CVE-2021-47547 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tulip: de4x5: fix the problem that the array 'lp->phy[8]' may be out of bound In line 5001, if all id in the array 'lp->phy[8]' is not 0, when the 'for' end, the 'k' is 8. At this time, the array 'lp->phy[8]' may be out of bound.
CVE-2018-1124 6 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 3 more 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 10 more 2025-12-18 7.8 High
procps-ng before version 3.3.15 is vulnerable to multiple integer overflows leading to a heap corruption in file2strvec function. This allows a privilege escalation for a local attacker who can create entries in procfs by starting processes, which could result in crashes or arbitrary code execution in proc utilities run by other users.
CVE-2021-47404 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: HID: betop: fix slab-out-of-bounds Write in betop_probe Syzbot reported slab-out-of-bounds Write bug in hid-betopff driver. The problem is the driver assumes the device must have an input report but some malicious devices violate this assumption. So this patch checks hid_device's input is non empty before it's been used.
CVE-2021-4439 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-12-18 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isdn: cpai: check ctr->cnr to avoid array index out of bound The cmtp_add_connection() would add a cmtp session to a controller and run a kernel thread to process cmtp. __module_get(THIS_MODULE); session->task = kthread_run(cmtp_session, session, "kcmtpd_ctr_%d", session->num); During this process, the kernel thread would call detach_capi_ctr() to detach a register controller. if the controller was not attached yet, detach_capi_ctr() would trigger an array-index-out-bounds bug. CVE-2018-1125 4 Canonical, Debian, Opensuse and 1 more 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Leap and 1 more 2025-12-17 7.5 High
procps-ng before version 3.3.15 is vulnerable to a stack buffer overflow in pgrep. This vulnerability is mitigated by FORTIFY, as it involves strncat() to a stack-allocated string. When pgrep is compiled with FORTIFY (as on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Fedora), the impact is limited to a crash.
CVE-2019-3855 8 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 18 Xcode, Debian Linux, Fedora and 15 more 2025-12-17 8.8 High
An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server.

CVE-2025-38077 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-17 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: dell-wmi-sysman: Avoid buffer overflow in current_password_store() If the 'buf' array received from the user contains an empty string, the 'length' variable will be zero. Accessing the 'buf' array element with index 'length - 1' will result in a buffer overflow. Add a check for an empty string. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
CVE-2025-67640 1 Jenkins 2 Git, Git Client 2025-12-17 5 Medium
Jenkins Git client Plugin 6.4.0 and earlier does not not correctly escape the path to the workspace directory as part of an argument in a temporary shell script generated by the plugin, allowing attackers able to control the workspace directory name to inject arbitrary OS commands.
CVE-2025-37979 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-12-16 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: qcom: Fix sc7280 lpass potential buffer overflow Case values introduced in commit 5f78e1fb7a3e ("ASoC: qcom: Add driver support for audioreach solution") cause out of bounds access in arrays of sc7280 driver data (e.g. in case of RX_CODEC_DMA_RX_0 in sc7280_snd_hw_params()). Redefine LPASS_MAX_PORTS to consider the maximum possible port id for q6dsp as sc7280 driver utilizes some of those values. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.
